Current Conditions:
1cm new snow overnight. 26cm new snow in the past 7 days. Snowpack height 161cm+ in riding areas. Total snowfall this season 458cm. Temps this morning: -9C with light winds at cabin elevation and -12.4C with light winds at ridgetop. Today: mix of sun and cloud, trace of new snow, 20 to 30 km/h southwest wind, treeline temperature - 12 °C.

Corbin Trail Jan 4th
Jan 3 grooming shift: troubleshooting broken drive shaft seal on the Coal Creek Trail.
Jan 3: Coal Creek Trail
Grooming:
Corbin: OPEN. Groomed Dec 31st to the McClatchie and last night to the Rain Gauge.
Coal Creek: OPEN. Last groomed Dec 3rd - Tiller motor case drain line became disconnected which caused the motor shaft seal to fail on the return home. Team was unable to finish groom through Summit Trail yesterday and cat was parked on side of the trail for the day. Thank you to FSA rider Lucas Shouldice for picking up the part for us in Calgary yesterday. The team is headed out to repair today and we will groom the full Coal Creek network tonight.
Morrissey: OPEN. Groomed from staging area to Wranglers Cabin Jan 3rd. FSA will not be grooming the McEvoy or Pipeline this winter as the areas remain CLOSED for pipeline construction. Please see the map and further details HERE. Very limited parking this season at Morrissey; lower lot closed and upper lot full of construction materials - not suitable for trucks with trailers.
Hartley: OPEN. No grooming.
Ram: OPEN. No grooming. Cabin open. The Lodgepole FSR will be plowed from the lower Morrissey parking lot to the Flathead this winter for timber harvesting.
