RAM CABIN
This isolated recreation area links with the Flathead Valley showcasing the true wilderness of southeastern BC. Riders should bring extra fuel for the 55km, winding ride into the Ram Cabin and be aware of the multiple motor vehicle closure areas along the route.
The Ram cabin is a day use emergency shelter only. No over night stays permitted. Shelter is locked in summer/fall.

DIRECTIONS TO STAGING AREA:
Head South of Fernie on Highway 3. Turn left onto Morrissey Road. Cross river and train tracks. Turn right on Cokato Road. Continue 3km, passing the old Morrissey townsite past the lower staging area and across the creek until you reach the junction of Lodgepole FSR and River Road Ext.
NOTE: No overnight camping, fires, or dumping is permitted in the staging area. Groups of 10 or more riders must notify the FSA prior to using the area for courses, events organized rides, etc as special permitting and regulations apply.
