CONDITIONS:
-2C at cabin elevation this AM. 4cm of new snow in the past 24 hours hours. 9cm new snow in the past 7 days. Grooming team reports wet snow at valley bottom but dry powder snow at cabin elevation and up. Total snowpack heights variable but around 140cm at the cabin.
Today: Cloudy with possible sunny breaks and morning fog patches. 40-70% chance of flurries, the greater chance during the late morning and afternoon. Minor to low end light accumulation, possible 2 to 5 cm. High -2 or -3.
Tonight: Cloudy with clear breaks and fog patches. 60% chance of flurries during the evening, minor accumulation possible. Low near -6.
GROOMING:
We’re Open! Please ride with caution and stay alert for unmarked hazards as the season kicks off.
Corbin: Groomed from the staging area the McClatchie and Barnes connector Friday night.
Coal Creek: Coal Creek, Doug Dean, Summit Trail groomed last night. Matheson to the waterfall groomed Thursday.
Morrissey: Morrissey and McEvoy Trails groomed last night. Notch groomed to the peak Friday night.
Hartley: First groom scheduled before Christmas as conditions allow.
Ram: Open. No grooming.
