Dec 16th, 2024 FSA Grooming Report


CONDITIONS:

-4C at cabin elevation this AM. 1cm of new snow in the past 24 hours hours. 18cm new snow in the past 7 days. Total snowpack heights variable but around 140cm at the cabin. 

Today: Cloudy with possible fog patches and early morning sunny breaks.  Snow developing mid or late morning, heavier during the afternoon. Accumulation from 4 to 8 cm. High near -4.

Tonight: Occasional snow or a few flurries, easing to a 40% chance of flurries late overnight.  Accumulation from 4 to 8 cm.  Possibly windy at times.  Low -6 or -7.


GROOMING:

We’re Open! Please ride with caution and stay alert for unmarked hazards as the season kicks off.

Corbin: Groomed from the staging area the McClatchie and Barnes connector Friday night.

Coal Creek: Coal Creek, Summit Trail, Paige’s Draw groomed last night. Doug Dean groomed yesterday. Matheson to the waterfall groomed last Thursday.

Morrissey: Morrissey and McEvoy Trails groomed last night. Notch groomed to the peak last Friday night.

Hartley: First groom scheduled before Christmas as conditions allow.

Ram: Open. No grooming.
