December 14th, 2024 FSA Grooming Report
CONDITIONS:
-4C at cabin elevation this AM and snowing. 5cm of new snow in the past 24 hours. 33cm new snow in the past 7 days. Total snowpack heights variable but around 142cm at the cabin.
Today: A few flurries or occasional (generally light) snow during the morning. A few flurries and possible snow showers during the afternoon. Light accumulation, possible 3 to 6 cm. Windy at times. High near -1.
Tonight: Mainly cloudy. A few flurries and possible snow showers during the evening, diminishing chance of flurries overnight. Light accumulation, possible 2 to 5 cm. Windy at times. Low near -4.
GROOMING:
We’re Open! Please ride with caution and stay alert for unmarked hazards as the season kicks off.
Corbin: Groomed from the staging area the McClatchie and Barnes connector last night.
Coal Creek: Coal Creek, Doug Dean, Summit Trail groomed last night. Matheson to the waterfall groomed yesterday.
Morrissey: Morrissey and McEvoy Trails groomed last night. Notch groomed to the peak yesterday.
Hartley: First groom scheduled before Christmas as conditions allow.
Ram: Open. No grooming.
