Dec 31th, 2024 FSA Grooming Report
CONDITIONS:
-8C at cabin elevation. 4cm of new snow in the past 48 hours. 72cm in the past 7 days. Total snowpack heights variable based on riding zone but 220cm measured at the plot. Total snowfall this season 431cm. Riders can expect to find between 30-50cm+ of settling snow from this week’s storm cycle out there. We have had warm temperatures over the weekend at valley bottom to about 1540m making for heavier snow on the lowest sections of trails coupled with winds at upper elevation in exposed areas redistributing snow. It’s a bit of a mixed bag out there but the riding is still great!
Today: Cloudy with morning fog patches and possibly a few sunny breaks. 40% chance of morning flurries, 70% chance of flurries during the afternoon. Minor-low end light accumulation possible. High near -3.
Tonight: Mainly cloudy with a few flurries or occasional light snow. Minor to low end light accumulation. Low -6 or -7.
GROOMING:
We’re Open! Staging is at our regular valley bottom parking areas and all trails have great coverage.
Corbin: Groomed from the staging area to the McClatchie and Barnes connector last night.
Coal Creek: Coal Creek, Doug Dean and Summit Trails groomed last night.
Morrissey: Morrissey and McEvoy groomed last night.
Hartley: Groomed Dec 27th.
Ram: Open. No grooming.
