Dec 27th, 2024 FSA Grooming Report


CONDITIONS:

-4C at cabin elevation this AM. 8cm of new snow in the past 24 hours hours and over 40cm new snow in the past 7 days (over 379cm total this season). Total snowpack heights variable but around 191cm at the cabins.

Today: Cloudy with morning fog patches and possibly a few sunny breaks.  40-60% chance of flurries, the greater chance late in the day. High near -3.

Tonight: Periods of snow developing overnight.  Light accumulation, possible 3 to 6 cm. Low near -5.


GROOMING:

We’re Open! Staging is at our regular valley bottom parking areas.

Corbin: Groomed from the staging area to the McClatchie and Barnes connector on Monday.

Coal Creek: Coal Creek, Summit Trail, and Doug Dean groomed last night. Matheson groomed 3 days ago.

Morrissey: Morrissey, McEvoy, and Notch Trail groomed last night.

Hartley: Open. No grooming yet the season - snowcat is being was moved into position yesterday with anticipated first groom of the season shortly!

Ram: Open. No grooming.
