Dec 25th, 2024 FSA Grooming Report
CONDITIONS:
-4C at cabin elevation this AM. 10cm of new snow in the past 24 hours hours and over 50cm new snow in the past 7 days (over 369cm total this season). Total snowpack heights variable but around 187cm at the cabins. Rain at valley bottom earlier this week but the riding up top is dry snow. Expect open areas to be wind affected but there is plenty of deep snow riding out there to be found. Watch for early season hazards in all riding areas as the base continues to accumulate.
Today: Cloudy with sunny breaks and morning fog patches. Slight chance of flurries. Increasing wind late in the day. High near -2.
Tonight: Cloudy with a few flurries or occasional light snow. Minor to low end light accumulation, possible 1 to 4 cm. Windy at times. Low -3 or -4.
GROOMING:
We’re Open! Staging is at our regular valley bottom parking areas.
Corbin: Groomed from the staging area to the McClatchie and Barnes connector on Monday.
Coal Creek: Coal Creek, Summit Trail, and Doug Dean groomed last night. Matheson groomed yesterday.
Morrissey: Morrissey and McEvoy Trail groomed last night. Notch groomed to the peak a week ago.
Hartley: Open. No grooming yet the season - snowcat is being was moved into position yesterday with anticipated first groom of the season shortly!
Ram: Open. No grooming.
