WINTER IS ON IT’S WAY!

October 22nd marked the first significant snowfall event of the season in Fernie and what a visual treat it was to see winter again!

Thank you to everyone who came to see us at the Alberta Snowmobile and Powersports Show this month. It was rewarding to chat face to face with riders about recent projects and to let everyone know we are ‘open for business’ this winter.

The FSA would also like to share our immense appreciation for the support from our 22/23 corporate partners. These local businesses are making a statement that they value the contribution that organized snowmobiling makes to our community. You can read more about the economic impact of snowmobiling in Fernie HERE.

In late September, there was record turnout at the FSA firewood work-b event. We celebrated in style with the second annual drive-in film night and BBQ. Discount codes have been emailed to volunteers. If you helped out this fall - check your inbox.

2022-2023 MEMBERSHIPS

We were one of the first clubs in the province to launch the new BCSF digital membership platform called Amilia in September. The new software has a number of benefits designed to reduce administrative burden on club volunteers and get riders on the snow faster this season. While there has been a few learning curves, we are stoked on the new program and all it offers.

MEMBERSHIP REMINDERS:

  • This is a new program. Your old Silkstart login and password will not work.

  • Family and secondary membership purchases must be made in ONE transaction for discounts to apply. Rates show up on final checkout.

  • A list of membership benefits can be found HERE.

  • Having trouble? Check out the HOW TO’s HERE.
