Cheers to the Griz! Winter is here. If you live in Fernie you undoubtedly spent your morning behind the handlebars of your snowblower digging out from the 36cm of snowfall received in the last 48 hours. Or, if you were lucky enough, you got out for an early-season ride.

Start-Up Plan:

Our start-up plan for the season is still holding strong as follows:

CORBIN: Dec 10th (we have been grooming / road building x1 day a week since Nov 8)

COAL CREEK: Dec 17th (Road building to take place Dec 12-16th)

Hartley: Dec 22nd

MORRISSEY: CLOSED FOR INDUSTRIAL ACTIVITY - NO SNOWMOBILE ACCESS/STAGING

Current Conditions:

215cm snowfall total received so far this season
Mid-mountain and up base is around 1meter
Valley bottom to mid-mountain variable between 20cm - 1 meter.
