INTRODUCING PROJECT BASECAMP!
It is a critical time of year for the Fernie Snowmobile Association (FSA) as we launch our annual corporate partnership drive. Whether you are a local business that benefits from winter tourism or a local who enjoys backcountry recreation, snowmobiling is an important component of a healthy and diverse community in Fernie.
The FSA is excited to announce ‘Project Basecamp’ and our SUMMER OF FUNdraising. Due to flood damage and ongoing industrial activity we are being compelled to move our base area facilities to a new location out Coal Creek. This includes construction of a secure storage facility to safely house our trail grooming equipment and enviro fuel tanks. While unexpected, we are looking forward to having ‘our own’ facility to provide long term stability to our growing not-for-profit organization.
We need your help! Our fundraising goal to complete this project in time for winter is $150,000. A partnership does not have to be cash contribution - we love in-kind donations of material or services, prizes to help us fundraise or any other support you may be able to give this summer.
Our 2022-2023 Corporate Partnership and Advertising flyer is available HERE detailing ways we can recognize your support. In addition the BC Snowmobile Federation is offering 50% off their provincial corporate partnership programs for anyone who supports the FSA at the matching level (read more HERE).
