Dec 19th 2023 FSA Grooming Report
Current Conditions:
-2C with 1cm new snow in the past 24 hours, 8cm new snow in the past 7 days. Today: Cloudy with a few flurries or occasional snow. Light accumulation, possible 2 to 5 cm. Snow level rising to between 1200 & 1500 metre’s. High 0 or -1. Total snowpack heights in mid-upper mountain riding areas are around 108cm tapering off at valley bottom.

Grooming:
Corbin: Open. Groomed last night. Memberships or day passes required at trailhead. Purchase in advance online via link below.
Coal Creek: Road building activities are in progress at Coal Creek, and the first full groom is expected on December 23rd. Note an ephemeral stream running on the new section of the lower trail with open water related to last weeks precipitation event. Generally low snow conditions throughout most trails and riding areas at this time.
Morrissey: Currently plowed for timber harvesting. Expect heavy equipment and hauling 24/7. Winter snow road building is scheduled for December 19-22nd, with the first full groom anticipated on December 23rd.
Hartley: The first groom at Hartley is scheduled just after Christmas as conditions allow.
Ram: The cabin at Ram is unlocked for the season. Lodgepole is plowed to the McClatchie for timber harvesting activities.
