Dec 18, 2022 FSA Groomer’s Report
Current Conditions:
14cm new snow in the past 24 hours. 22cm new snow in the past 7 days. Total snowpack heights 116cm up to 2 meters in areas. Total snowfall this season is 344cm. Extreme cold warning in effect. -22C cabin elevation (light wind) / -26C ridgetop (winds 27km/hr) at 6am.

Grooming:
Corbin: OPEN. Groomed Dec 16th from the staging area to the McClatchie.
Coal Creek: OPEN. Coal Creek Trail, Summit Trail, Doug Dean Trail groomed last night.
Morrissey: CLOSED. Tentative opening before Christmas. Currently demobilizing post timber harvesting activities. Snowcats will be working Dec 17-19th to rebuild the snow road and fill in bridges on the Morrissey trail from the staging area to the Wranglers Cabin. Do not drive up the road/park - you will likely be ‘trapped’ in by the snowcat. FSA will not be grooming the McEvoy or Pipeline this winter as the areas remain CLOSED for pipeline construction. Hartley: OPEN. The first groom is scheduled for Dec 22, 2022
Ram: OPEN. No grooming. Cabin open. The Lodgepole FSR will be plowed from the lower Morrissey parking lot to the Flathead this winter for timber harvesting.
