WEATHER

GROOMED

Morrissey: Morrissey Trail, Summit Trail, Doug Dean Trail, McEvoy and Pipeline returned groomed last night. Notch Trail groomed yesterday. Both parking lots open. Note that the Morrissey bridge over the Elk River is being re-decked and will be closed Feb 28-Mar 3 and Mar 7 - 10th from 9am-5pm daily.

Coal Creek: Opened yesterday for regular staging and use! Trail groomed last night. TRAIL CHANGE: Please note that the ‘old’ trail does not exist anymore due to flood damage - the FSA has built a NEW trail this fall on the left bank of Coal Creek that rejoins the ‘old’ Coal Creek trail just above the Matheson junction.

Corbin: Groomed from the staging area to the McClatchie last Sunday. Active logging and hauling in progress 7 days a week out of the Barnes / Elliot area. The FSA and Canfor have worked to build a bypass trail on the shoulder of the road for the first 6km to allow both groups to operate - sledders MUST use the groomed trail on the shoulder of the road. It is illegal and very dangerous to snowmobile on the plowed road.

Hartley: Groomed Feb 16th from the staging area to the East Fork of the Sulphur.

Ram: Closed to large, impassable washout near km45. Cabin remains locked
