Feb 4, 2024 FSA Grooming Report


Current Conditions:

-2C at cabin elevation. 6cm new snow in the past 24 hours. 6cm in the past 7 days. Total settled snowpack heights 156cm or more in mid to upper riding elevations. We’ve experienced just over a week now of warm temperatures and mixed precipitation to ridgeline - see previous grooming reports. 

Today: Occasional snow or a few flurries during the morning.  Mainly cloudy with a 40% chance of flurries during the afternoon.  Accumulation from 1 to 4 cm.  High near -2. Tonight: Cloudy with clear breaks and fog patches, slight chance of flurries near morning.  Low near -6.

Grooming:

Corbin: Open. Groomed to just past the Rain Gauge yesterday.

Coal Creek: Open. Groomed Coal Creek and Summit Trail last night.

Morrissey: Open. Groomed upper Morrissey and McEvoy Trail last night.

Hartley: Open. Staging area to the east fork of the Sulphur last groomed Dec 26th. No grooming last 2 week due to High avalanche hazard and isothermal conditions on trail. Next groomed scheduled for Feb 8th.

Ram: Open.
