Feb 3, 2024 FSA Grooming Report


Current Conditions:

-2C at cabin elevation. 0cm new snow in the past 24 hours. 2cm in the past 7 days. Total settled snowpack heights 155cm or more in mid to upper riding elevations. We’ve experienced just over a week now of warm temperatures and mixed precipitation to ridgeline - see previous grooming reports. 

Today: Cloudy.  A few flurries and then snow developing during the morning.  Snow level 1500-1600 metres and then trending lower during the afternoon.  Light accumulation, possible 4 to 8 cm.  High 1 or 2. Tonight: Cloudy with occasional snow. Light to possible low end moderate accumulation.  Windy at times.  Low near -4.

Grooming:

Corbin: Open. Groomed to just past the Rain Gauge last night.

Coal Creek: Open. Groomed Coal Creek and Summit Trail.

Morrissey: Open. Groomed upper Morrissey and McEvoy Trail.

Hartley: Open. Staging area to the east fork of the Sulphur last groomed Dec 26th. No grooming last 2 week due to High avalanche hazard and isothermal conditions on trail. Next groomed scheduled for Feb 8th.

Ram: Open.
