Feb 23, 2025 FSA Grooming Report
CONDITIONS:
This morning, it’s 0°C at cabin elevation with light winds and -3C at the peak. 22cm new in the past 24 hours. 15cm in the past 7 days. Settled snowpack 212 cm and the season total 624 cm.
Today: Snow/rain during the morning and early afternoon, 60% chance of light rain/flurries during the mid-late afternoon. Snow level 1600-1800 metres, accumulation 5 to 10 cm. Windy at times. High near 2.
Tonight: Snow/rain, heavy at times. Moderate to heavy accumulation possible, mainly above 1600-1800 metres. Windy at times. Low near 0.
GROOMING:
Staging is at our regular valley bottom parking areas and all trails have great coverage.
Corbin: Groomed 5 days ago. Note that we are shifting this weekends groom to accommodate some additional unexpected maintenance on the Corbin snowcat. Trail is still in excellent condition with corduroy visible. Please check back for updates as we work to troubleshoot the issue.
Coal Creek: Coal Creek, Doug Dean, Summit Trail groomed last night. Freezing line last night was Paige’s Draw elevation.
Morrissey: Morrissey and McEvoy groomed last night. Notch groomed 2 days ago. Martin groomed 5 day ago. Matheson groomed 4 days ago. Freezing line last night was just above FWA gate / bottom of Summit Trail elevation.
Hartley: Groomed 9 days ago.
Ram: Open. No grooming.
