WELCOME TO FERNIE, BC…

Nestled in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, Fernie, BC, is a historic mining town renowned for its 29 feet of snow each winter. Our vibrant four-season resort community boasts world-class amenities and endless outdoor adventures. Surrounded by awe-inspiring alpine vistas, Fernie is steeped in rich mountain culture and legendary stories, with access to some of British Columbia’s most pristine backcountry just steps from downtown.

A true paradise for snowmobilers, Fernie offers a vast range of terrain suitable for every type of rider. The Fernie Snowmobile Association maintains over 250 kilometers of groomed trails, five unique riding areas, three day-use warming shelters, and access to endless wilderness waiting to be explored.
