Grooming Report Jan 30 2023

Jan 30 2023 FSA Groomer’s Report

Current Conditions:

-18C at Cabin elevation and -23C at ridgetop with moderate winds last night! To prevent damage to grooming equipment and keep our team safe we have held off grooming yesterday.

Our team is watching the weather carefully and temps are forecasted to climb back into reasonable operating weather later today or tomorrow. We'll keep you posted but have included our severe weather operating chart below for your reference.

If you choose to head out riding, please ensure you do so prepared for the severe weather. Dress in layers, watch for frostbite or signs of hypothermia and be aware that any emergency response will likely be prolonged if possible at all. If you are the first rider up, please stop by the cabin to get the wood stove going so it is available to those in need.

Special Notices:

  • Check the avalanche bulletin before you ride at www.avalanche.ca.

  • Highway conditions and alerts at drivebc.ca.

  • Update on pipeline construction / Morrissey closures HERE.
