Current Conditions:
1C at cabin elevation. 10cm new snow in the past 24 hours. 53cm in the past 7 days. Total settled snowpack heights 191cm or more in mid to upper riding elevations. The last two days have seen rain at valley bottom with heavy wet snow to the Paige’s Draw elevation (1/3rd of the way up) and dry snow at cabin and upper riding elevations. Groomer reported light snow to valley bottom last night.
Today: Mainly cloudy with fog patches and a few flurries during the morning. Cloudy with possible sunny breaks and a 60% chance of flurries during the afternoon. Minor to low end light accumulation, possible 1 to 3 cm. High 0 or 1. Tonight: Cloudy with possible clear breaks and fog patches. 40% chance of evening flurries, 70% chance of flurries overnight. Minor accumulation possible. Low near -2.
Grooming:
Corbin: Open. Groomed Monday to the McClatchie.
Coal Creek: Open. Coal Creek, Summit, Doug Dean groomed last night.
Morrissey: Open. McEvoy Trail and Morrissey trail groomed last night.
Hartley: Open. Snowcat transported to trailhead yesterday. Anticipated first groom of the season will be this week pending avalanche hazard.
Ram: Open.
