Dec 31, 2022 FSA Groomer’s Report
Current Conditions:
2cm new snow overnight. 83cm in the past 7 days. Snowpack heights 173cm+. Total snowfall this season 455cm. Temps at 6am -3.3C at cabin elevation with light winds / -6.5C at ridgetop with calm winds. After a wet and wild start to the week, wintery conditions have returned with about 50cm of new now sitting on top of that rain crust formed during the storm. Forecast for Saturday is 5-10cm new snow, strong winds, temps around -5C. Sunday partly cloudy with sunny breaks, moderate winds, temp -7C.

Grooming:
Corbin: OPEN. Groomed last night to the McClatchie.
Coal Creek: OPEN. Coal Creek Trail, Summit Trail, and Doug Dean Trail. Matheson groomed Dec 30th
Morrissey: OPEN. Groomed from staging area to Wranglers Cabin. FSA will not be grooming the McEvoy or Pipeline this winter as the areas remain CLOSED for pipeline construction. Please see the map and further details HERE. Very limited parking this season at Morrissey; lower lot closed and upper lot full of construction materials - not suitable for trucks with trailers.
Hartley: OPEN. The first scheduled groom is behind a few days due to extreme cold weather last week.
Ram: OPEN. No grooming. Cabin open. The Lodgepole FSR will be plowed from the lower Morrissey parking lot to the Flathead this winter for timber harvesting.
