Dec 18th, 2024 FSA Grooming Report


CONDITIONS:

-2C at cabin elevation this AM. 30cm of new snow in the past 24 hours hours. Total snowpack heights variable but around 170cm at the cabin. 

Today: Snow, heavy at times during the morning, easing to a few flurries mid or late afternoon.  Moderate to heavy accumulation, possible 12 to 20 cm.  Windy, possibly strong at times during the morning. High 0 or -1.

Tonight: Cloudy with clear periods and possible fog patches.  Low near -7.


GROOMING:

We’re Open! Please ride with caution and stay alert for unmarked hazards as the season kicks off.

Corbin: Groomed from the staging area the McClatchie and Barnes connector on Monday.

Coal Creek: Coal Creek, Summit Trail, and Doug Dean groomed last night. Matheson groomed Tuesday. Paige’s draw groomed Monday.

Morrissey: Morrissey and McEvoy Trail groomed last night. Notch groomed to the peak last Friday night.

Hartley: First groom scheduled before Christmas as conditions allow.

Ram: Open. No grooming.
