Let's get ready for another amazing winter of sledding in Fernie! Join us on September 11th, 2021 to stock the woodsheds, install new signage, and complete general maintenance on the Wranglers and Rolling Hills Cabins.

We'll be meeting at 8:30AM in the Morrissey Staging Area before heading up the mountain to divide and conquer the task list! If you can’t make 8:30 AM come find us at the Wrangler’s Cabin anytime during the day. No experience necessary but we are specifically looking for the following support:

Fire Wood Team: Bring saws and safety gear! We'll be hauling and bucking logs. Helpers required to operate the log splitter and stack firewood in the shed.

Signage Team: Bring your quads and side by sides or trucks and ladders. We have new interpretive and way-finding signage to be installed on all trails and in the cabins. If you have a drill, please bring. Fasteners provided.

Cabin Maintenance: We have a list of small odd jobs including cleaning out the wood stoves, sweeping, a little painting and more!

FREE BBQ lunch, bevies, and snacks provided. All volunteers will earn a discount on your 21/22 FSA Annual Membership ($25 discount for each day volunteered).
