Grooming:

Coal Creek: NOW OPEN - groomed Saturday night. Access via St Margaret’s Cemetery Road to new temporary staging area. Note there is only room for 10-15 vehicles to park on the shoulder of the road. Trailers are not permitted as there is no turn around available. If there is already 10-15 vehicles when you arrive or you are hauling a trailer you must stage at Morrissey (20 min south of Fernie on hwy 3) - you can access the exact same trails from the south end. There is NO STAGING PERMITTED AT MONTANE - this is a non motorized recreation area and private land and anyone parking here should expect to be towed. See map below.

Corbin: Groomed from the staging area to the McClatchie on Jan 14th. Active logging and hauling in progress - road plowed from staging area to the Barnes Elliot junction. We have worked with Canfor to widen the road and build a snowmobile trail on the shoulder to permit simultaneous operations here. Do not snowmobile on plowed road- stay on groomed bypass trail please. Regular winter trail commences after Barnes Elliot Junction.

Hartley: Groomed January 12th from the staging area to the East Fork of the Sulphur.

Morrissey: Groomed Morrissey, Doug Dean, Summit Trail, McEvoy, Pipeline Return and the Notch to the top of the second hill plus the bypass trails last night.

Ram: Closed due to extremely large road wash out near km 42. No access.
