Weather:

0cm new snow in the past 24hrs, 92cm in the past 7 days. Snowpack height in most riding areas is now over 2meters. Mixed weather in the forecast- we should see some partial clearing today with scattered flurries before more snow returns early next week. High wind chill with day time highs near -20C this weekend.

Grooming:

Morrissey: OPEN WITH SPECIAL REGULATIONS IN PLACE (CLICK HERE TO READ). Main Morrissey trail, Summit Trail, Doug Dean trail groomed last night (extra passes done to widen and clean up main sections). Groomer has also begun putting in the trail to the Notch for the season - made it almost to the top of the first big climb and top of the first ride around section. This road building work to get to the summit ridge requires significant effort each year so please be patient with us. The climbs, deep snow, current cold weather, and moving/packing consumes quite a bit of fuel and time on top of our regular grooming routes so the operator has to make difficult judgement calls on when to push and when to back off under the current conditions.

Coal Creek: CLOSED/NO ACCESS PERMITTED. No grooming. ETA for repairs mid-January.

Corbin: OPEN. Groomed from the staging area to the Mc Clatchie last night.

Hartley: OPEN. Grooming start up scheduled for the first week of January.
