March 16, 2025 FSA Grooming Report


CONDITIONS:

This morning, it’s -5°C at cabin elevation with light winds. 29cm of new snow in the past 24 hours. Total snow in the past 7 days is 68cm. Total settled snowpack is 278cm and we have received 733cm of total snowfall this season.

Today: Snow during the morning, a few flurries and possible snow showers during the afternoon. Light to low end moderate accumulation, possible 6 to 12 cm.  Windy at times.  High near -2.

Tonight: Mainly cloudy.  A few flurries and possible snow showers with gusty winds during the evening, 60% chance of flurries overnight. Light to low end moderate accumulation possible.  Low near -6.


GROOMING:

Staging is at our regular valley bottom parking areas. The spring melt is here! Expect variable trail conditions below 1540m and excellent trail coverage above that elevation.

Today, Sunday March 16th is the last day of our regular grooming season. We will be completing intermittent grooming through the spring as staffing and conditions allow including a full groom next Friday and Saturday nights.

Morrissey: Morrissey, McEvoy groomed last night.

Hartley: Groomed 2 days ago.

Ram: Open. No grooming.
