Feb 28, 2025 FSA Grooming Report


CONDITIONS:

This morning, it’s -2°C at cabin elevation with light winds and -5C at the peak. 0cm new in the past 24 hours. 65cm in the past 7 days. Settled snowpack 238 cm and the season total 639 cm.

Today: Possible low cloud and fog patches during the morning, otherwise sunny with cloudy periods.  High 4 or 5.

Tonight: Mainly clear, patchy low cloud and fog possible overnight. Low -2 or -3.


GROOMING:

Staging is at our regular valley bottom parking areas and all trails have great coverage. Please note that the freezing line from last weekends storm cycle was at approx 1540m. Dry powder snow up top but variable conditions on lower valley bottom trails. Grooming routes are currently impacted by elevated avalanche hazard. Special Pubic Avalanche Bulletin in effect until March 3rd (Read HERE).

Corbin: Groomed from staging area to Barnes junction last night.

Coal Creek: Coal Creek, Doug Dean, Summit Trail groomed last night.

Morrissey: Morrissey and McEvoy groomed last night.

Hartley: Day groomed scheduled for today.

Ram: Open. No grooming.
