Grooming:
Corbin: OPEN. Groomed to the McClatchie this morning.
Coal Creek: OPEN. The maintenance team worked late into the night to complete repairs on the SIlverSurfer snowcat out in the field. They will take it for a test drive this morning before returning to our regular grooming schedule this evening. Watch for snowcat on trail at all times. Last groom on Coal Creek and Doug Dean was Sunday. Last groom on Summit Trail was Saturday. Full groom expected tonight.
Morrissey: OPEN. See notes above regarding the Silver Surfer. Last Morrissey groom was Saturday but we expect a full groom tonight. FSA will not be grooming the McEvoy or Pipeline this winter as the areas remain CLOSED for pipeline construction. Please see the map and further details HERE. Very limited parking this season at Morrissey; lower lot closed and upper lot full of construction materials - not suitable for trucks with trailers. Do not snowmobile on the plowed road from the parking lot to the trailhead kiosk - all sledders must use the connector trail. It is illegal to snowmobile on a plowed road, very dangerous for yourself and public, and is subject to a hefty fine from the RCMP.
Hartley: OPEN. Groomed to the East Fork of the Sulphur March 11th.
Ram: OPEN. No grooming. Cabin open. The Lodgepole FSR will be plowed from the lower Morrissey parking lot to the Flathead this winter for timber harvesting. Expect heavy industrial traffic at all times. There is excellent information regarding radio call up/down procedures, channel maps and more HERE.
