The Parkplace Lodge in Fernie

The Fernie Snowmobile Association (FSA) is holding an AGM for the following reasons:

    1. FSA AGM to fall in line with the BCSF AGM. This will allow the newly elected Board to have a full 12 month term to work with the BCSF vs the 5 months currently

    1. The FSA needs to have 12 month representation to acquire funding, ensure agreements are in place for the coming seasons, ensure all insurance and other administrative requirements are being managed and in place for the coming winter

    1. The FSA directors elected in the spring would have approximately 6 months to review the previous seasons operation, address any issues and familiarize themselves with the operating requirements of the FSA prior to the start of the snowmobile season. This would ideally allow for the Board of Directors to be more focused and dedicated on increasing growth and opportunity for events etc.

It is critical that members attend this meeting to vote for the Executives and the Board of Directors that they want to see in place for the 2016/17 season.

There will be nominations for the following positions:

  1. President

  2. Vice President

  3. Treasurer

  4. Secretary

  5. 3-5 Directors

THIS AGM WILL REPLACE THE AGM NORMALLY HELD IN THE FALL
