Morrissey and Corbin Groomer’s Report
January 30 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Conditions: 12cm of new snow in the past 24 hours, 40cm in the past 7 days, total snowpack heights averaging between 200-220cm in most riding areas.
- Morrissey: Morrissey Trail, Doug Dean Trail, Summit Trail, McEvoy Trail, South Pipeline Trail, Notch to the Peak, and parking lot connector trails groomed last night.
- Corbin: Groomed from the staging area to the McClatchie last night
- Hartley: Groomed from the staging area to the fork of the East Sulphur Jan 29
- Coal Creek: Remains CLOSED to public parking and sledding for timber harvesting operations. Please note that this is PRIVATE PROPERTY. Landowners have advised that there is NOT PUBLIC ACCESS FOR ANY REASON PAST THE GUN RANGE at this time. The current amount of public vehicles using this private roadway has impeded the ability for them to do their work safely and efficiently. This has now resulted in a delayed opening of Coal Creek for winter trail grooming and may impact future public access to these lands.
NOTES: COVID signage posted in cabins is a requirement of our continued operation. If individuals continue to remove signage cabins will be locked and closed to the public.
