Weather: 2C, cloudy skies. Winter storm warning in effect for the Elk Valley with up to 40cm of snowfall expected later today. Read more HERE.

Conditions: 0cm new snow in the past 24 hours, 54cm in the past 7 days, snowpack heights 125cm+ in all upper riding areas with many areas having more. New snow will have a significant impact on avalanche hazard at all elevations – please review the avalanche bulletin and more information available from Avalanche Canada HERE.

Groomed: Morrissey Trail, Summit Trail, Doug Dean Trail, McEvoy Trail, Pipeline Trail, Notch to top of the second double hill. Corbin last groomed Friday, Dec 18th. Harley groomed December 18th – note that the access road to the staging area is not recommended for trailers or trucks without chains.

Cabins: Wranglers and Rolling Hills Cabin open with a maximum 4 PERSON OCCUPANCY and MASKS MANDATORY. Please help us respect these regulations and keep our facilities open.

Coal Creek: Closed by the private landowner for timber harvesting activities. Expected to open in early January. No parking in the staging area permitted. No snowmobiles permitted up Coal Creek Road (remember it is illegal to snowmobile up a plowed forest service road and subject to large fines).
