Morrissey & Corbin Groomer’s Report

HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!
Weather: -3C, cloudy skies
Conditions: 10cm of new snow in the past 24 hours, All trails in excellent condition. Lower Morrissey road from parking lots to waterfall (graffiti rock elevation) has some icy patches – please ride with caution and avoid laying on the throttle as it glazes over the trail until there is more coverage on the road. Total snowpack heights in most riding areas over 150cm.
NOTES: It is illegal in BC to snowmobile on a plowed forest service road. If you choose to access the FSA maintained network from the Corbin road yellow gates /tin shed side – YOU MUST NOT SNOWMOBILE ON ANY PLOWED ROAD OR SLED THROUGH ANY CREEKS (FISH BEARING). Morrissey: Morrissey Trail, Doug Dean Trail, Summit Trail, Notch to the summit groomed last night. The parking lot and connector trail last groomed Dec 29th.
Corbin: Groomed from the staging area 20km to the McClatchie junction.
Hartley: Last groom and parking lot plow Dec 25th. Note the East Sulpher is currently plowed for timber harvesting activities.
Coal Creek: Remains CLOSED to public parking and sledding for timber harvesting operations
